Summer Skincare Survival Tips!

SUNBURN:
Sunburn is never fun, but there are several things you can do to relieve the stinging pain! Make sure to drink lots of water, take a pain reliever such as Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and apply a hydrating moisturizer to the affected area (Aloe Vera is a good option).
Tip: place your moisturizer or body lotion in the refrigerator for a nice cooling affect.


SPRAY TAN DISASTER:
Uneven and bright orange spray disasters are never fun! Unfortunately there are no quick fixes. To eliminate some of the orange - grab a loofa and gently exfoliate to remove dead skin cells.
Tip: before planning your next spray-tanning trip start exfoliating a week in advance focusing on the dryer body parts (elbows, knees, feet etc). You could also apply Brazilian Peel to smooth & brighten your complexion.


DRY CRACKED SKIN & LIPS:
Always remember to drinks lots of water! Before you leave your house cover your body, face and lips with SPF. Look for a lip balm with SPF 30 or higher.
Tip: for cracked summer lips take a toothbrush to your lips and apply vasoline for smooth luscious lips. 


BREAKOUTS:
The summer sun and heat can produce excess oil and clog your pores. Tip: switch to a lighter moisturizer in the summer months with SPF 15 or higher.
